After undergoing emergency surgery this past Monday, Greg "Big Bird" Elcich has been placed on the 14 day DL though is expected to return to the lineup for the June 29 game subject to medical approval from head of Pediatrics, Dr. Timmy.
The following photo is of post surgery trauma and may be considered by some to be extremely graphic. Viewer discretion is advised.

In view of recent events and after careful consideration that committee that assigns nicknames has decided that henceforth Greg shall be known as BooBoo.
