Whitby Mayor Timmy today declared Monday September 6th. a holiday to commemorate the Falcons winning the WMSPL President's Division.

To honour the team all residents of Whitby will be given Monday off from work.

The Mayor said that he and all residents of the town are proud of Whitby's most beloved team for the success in the regular season and wishes them all the best in the upcoming playoffs.

Town Hall insiders say the mayor has been a Falcon fan all his life and on hearing the news of the Division clinching victory was so excited he peed his pants.

Said Falcon legend Jerry Tone "He wasn't the only one" but would elaborate no further.
