This exact situation happened to one of our own in the mid season tournament a couple years ago. Fortunately, he was ok, but began wearing a helmet soon after.

I searched for a helmet earlier this season but had no luck finding a 7 7/8 or larger. Does Rawlings assume players with abnormally large heads can just absorb errant throws from Leon?

I have a big dome too, let me know if you find something. I'm going to checkout the models at Sportscheck.
Might have to order online for us large brained individuals.

It's a little hard to get used to wearing the helmet... but it does make sense. My head has never fully recovered...
