Going into the final weekend of the regular season, there are still a lot of playoff seeds that haven't been locked down. Chief among those is the #1 overall seed and the President's Division title. The schedule maker was kind to those of us who love drama: The A's and Storm will face off at 5:00 pm on Sunday for all the marbles. Early ticket sales numbers indicate that no one will get to the park early to watch that, but they should! Unless one of the teams loses the game on purpose because they'd rather enter the playoffs as the #2 seed to be in a pool with Bollocks and Re/Max (currently anyway). Could you imagine if teams started to lose games on purpose? Is that worse than throwing a guy out at first from left field?

Of course it is.

Not a lot of movement in the rankings this week because most teams only played one game due to the Labour Day holiday.

1st place in the President's Division (1st overall in WMSPL)

The A's have NEVER WON the President's Division. They're one win away. No pressure.

#2. Broadway

Record: 28-7-2 (1-0-0 this week)
3rd place in the President's Division (3rd in WMSPL)

Broadway has won four in a row, and need only beat Sports Illustrated Play on Sunday to enter the playoffs on a 5-game winning streak.

#3. Storm

Record: 30-6-1 (1-0-0 this week)
2nd place in the President's Division (2nd overall in WMSPL)

Storm went 18-0 versus the VP division this year, the only team to do so. If they beat the A's (17-1 vs. VP) in the battle of the titans on Sunday, it'll be their fourth straight President's Division championship, beating a record they currently hold along with the 1996-98 Hanet Plastics. It'll also be their 6th in the last 10.

#4. Falcons

1st place in the Vice President's Division (4th in WMSPL)

The Falcons are VP Division champions in 2018, and have locked up the #4 seed and a Friday bye. They get to play at 9:00 am on Saturday!

4th place in the President's Division (5th in WMSPL)

Don't sleep on the Rebels in the playoffs.

#7. Hanet Plastics

5th place in the President's Division (7th in WMSPL)

There is no reason (other than attendance, which is a caveat for ANY team in this league) that Hanet won't "storm" through the playoffs and win the whole thing.

#8. Brew Crew

3rd place in the Vice President's Division (tied for 8th in WMSPL)

Brew Crew needs some help, but they could move into the #7 seed with a win and a couple Hanet losses to finish it out. That would move them from a pool headlined by Broadway into one with the Falcons. Sounds worth it.

Bollocks have lost their last 9, and went 0-17-1 against the President's Division this season. This can't still be karma from tanking at the end of last season to secure a better playoff seed, could it?
