assignment Short bench loses to Rebels

Led by the veteren Jerry a short-bench team of 8 Falcons played well against the Rebels but in the end came up short by a score of 12-9 for their third consecutive loss.While not a classic, Falcons played hard but fell short in the bottom of the seventh. With the bases loaded, Mike tagged a long shot to left on a shallow fielder who made a good catch going away.
Kudos to the 3 Falcons' outfielders, Sean, Barry and Jerry who covered a lot of ground and played a solid game.
The loss drops the Falcons to 0-3 vs. the Rebels this year.
