assignment Falcons Struggle at 5:00
Sunday 5:00PM July 4th, 2010
For the third time in four outings the Falcons came up flat in a 5PM start.Starting quickly with 7 runs in the second the team went quiet and the Storm came back to defeat Whitby's most beloved team by a final of 13- 8.
Aside from the second inning it was a feeble offense that only generated 1 more run in the sixth.
Game lowlights were topped by a surprise move by Falcons' current ironman who had himself replaced at backstop in the 4th inning, seemingly suffering from heat stroke. To the fans delight, he returned in the top of the 7th in an attempt to help rally the Falcons to victory. Unfortunately, the attempt was best summed up by this picture:
The following morning, the disheartened catcher was quoted as saying: "Pretty much passed out when I got home. Went to see Dr. Timmy this morning. He wrapped my brain with duct tape and gave me two Flintstone vitamins." With his sense of humour still intact, appears the current ironman streak will continue as Whitby's most beloved baseball player is expected to be 100% for their next game.

Well, The largest and longest independent clinical trial to assess ginkgo bilobas ability to prevent memory loss has found that the supplement does not prevent or delay dementia or Alzheimers disease and it tastes poopy.
