assignment Falcons Hold Off The A's

In what was shaping up to be an easy win, the A's bats (perhaps sparked by the inspired play of new pickup, John) awoke in the 5th that quickly turned this game into another nail biting finish - see last game vs. Rebels.Having been held to 0 runs over the first 4 innings, the A's pounded out 11 in the last 3.
But in the end, thanks to some clutch insurance runs in their half of the 7th, the Falcons were able hold off the comeback.
All things considered: phew! :)
