In their last meeting 4 weeks ago Direct beat the Falcons soundly by a score of 13-4. Still smarting from the loss and with their mini win-streak on the line the re-tooled Falcons needed to prove to themselves they were back.

A message was sent in the first inning as The Legend Jerry Tone made it clear to the big man Ryan, "we're coming for you" and in the top of the second the Falcons delivered by scoring 9 runs.

Once again the defense was solid holding Direct scoreless for the first five innings with two great rally killing plays thrown in for good measure. An outstanding over the shoulder catch in shallow left field by the shortstop Shooter Bill and a great second effort by Cash who threw a backwards, underhand strike to second for the force out. Not to be forgotten, the ageless Junior who has suddenly become the great middleman in the 6-4-3 double play.

Direct finally lit up the scoreboard scoring 3 in the final two innings but this one ended 14-3 for the Falcons.

Rookie Rich - 4 for 4 with 3 runs scored.
Perry - Homerun with 3 RBIs (and showed some real guts).
DC - Homerun with 3 RBIs.
