assignment The Elusive 500

There is a law, named after some guy whose name escapes me, that states �Anything that can go wrong will go wrong�. The Falcons went into the Tuesday game with Mayhem needing the win to reach .500 for the first time this season. That law was in full effect.Without taking away from Mayhem, who did play a good game, the Falcons hit everything right at them, the defense was not sharp and they ran themselves out of innings on the base path squandering a lead off triple in the fifth and failing to score the runner.
Mayhem hit hard and did the most damage in the third and sixth scoring six runs in each of those innings. Falcons scored three in the bottom of the seventh to make the score almost respectable. Time to regroup and get set for next Sunday.
