assignment The Strange case of Team Jekyll and Team Hyde
Monday 9:30PM August 13th, 2012
In Whitby, John Gabriel Utterson, a prosecutor, is on his weekly walk with his relative Richard Enfield, who proceeds to tell him the story of a strange baseball game he had just witnessed at Kelloryn Park. The Falcons, still Whitbys most beloved team (as the early voting would indicate) had just lost to the last place Greenthumb / Woodland team. How could this be? asks Utterson, I saw this exact same team defeat the first place Devils the very night before?
Perhaps the answer to this mystery lay in the silent bats as the Falcons managed only 15 hits on the night and stranded too many runners. After coming back from a 6-1 deficit to tie it at 7s, after 6 innings, the Falcons were pressing hard to take the lead. Cash led off with a double to start the seventh but the Falcons failed to bring him home. GT/W scored one in the bottom to win this one 8-7
Game High Lights
After careful review of the score sheet and game film we have conclusively determined there were no high lights in this game
