After PWNing the Falcons in the first two match ups this season the wheels fell off the Mayhem wagon last night as the Falcons banged out 14 runs in the second inning on their way to a 21-11 victory.

Scoring 4 in the top of the first then holding Mayhem in the bottom, the second inning proved huge for the Falcons. Cash led the way by starting the inning with a Kent Porter to put the Falcons ahead by 5 and homered again in his second at bat of the inning (checking the archives, no Falcon has ever hit two home runs in the same inning). While it was mostly a string of successive singles, Junior tripled and DC (henceforth to be known the B�rgermeister) hit a three run shot as all 10 Falcons scored at least once in this inning.

In the bottom of the second Mayhem threatened but Skinny killed a one out, bases loaded, threat with an unassisted double play in right field and at second base.

The Mayhems finally woke up in the third, both offensively and defensively and had their own big inning scoring 7 runs in the sixth but the damage had been done and there was no coming back.

In the end, our big inning was bigger than their big inning.
