assignment The Great Pretenders
Tuesday 8:00PM September 4th, 2012
A few weeks back with 10 games left in the season the Falcons were starting to get healthy and the big question was could we be a contender or we just another pretender. Falling 10-1 to the Rebels last night the Platters have released their new hit single to answer that question.
It goes something like this,
Oh yes, we�re the great pretenders
Pretending that we�re doing well
Our need is such
We pretend too much
We losing but no one can tell

Adrift in a field of our own
We play the game but to our real shame
We aren't all like Jerry Tone
Too real is this feeling of make-believe
Too real when we see what the score can�t conceal
Oh yes, we�re the great pretenders
Just laughing we play like some clown
We seem to be what we�re not you see
And it looks like we�re going down.
