Two good innings were all the Falcons needed, as they romped to a 26-11 victory over the Devils to open a four game road trip. After scoring 11 in the top of the first, and 12 in the top of the second, the Falcons (6-2), began thinking of burgers. The thought of a big, juicy triple cheeseburger distracted the offence enough that the bats went cold. The Falcons only scored three more runs before the game was called after the sixth.

SLF began the talk about burgers, jinxing the offence. �I could really go for a triple cheeseburger right now�, he said after the top of the second concluded. �I prefer fur�, added Thirteen Dollar Bill.

More spectacular Falcons defence was on display, as the team turned four double plays, holding the Devils to only 11 runs, three below their season average.

Papa Bear led the way offensively, with a homer, two singles and a double resulting in 5 RBI. Tank impressed as well, going 5 for 5 with 5 singles and 2 RBI. Alas, the Falcons hunger prevented them from having a pizza-free game, with contributions from Cashley and The Legend.

Game Notes: Dougothy left silently (as if swept away somehow) as soon as the ballpark lights came on� The cooler continues to be infiltrated by beer that was not made with rice� The Falcons copied Xtreme�s �Muppet Act� after the game, watching from the hill as Xtreme played against the Rebels� The Falcons four game winning streak is a season high�
