Having just dispatched 2012 WMSPL League Champions Hanet Plastics on June 26, Mayhem extended their giant-killing ways by beating the the current first place Falcons 6-5 in a pitchers' duel on a special Canada Day tilt.

Suffering from a short bench due to the holiday, the Falcons (10-4) began strong, scoring two in the top of the first, but faltered for much of the game thereafter, managing only three more over the next six innings.

The Falcons defence was spot on, allowing only 5 runs over the first six innings, but couldn�t contain Mayhem (7-6) in the bottom of the seventh, as they manufactured the winning run without recording an out.

This was the second loss in a row for the Falcons, matching a season high. With any luck, the team will burst out of this losing streak much as they did after the last one, and run off another eight wins in a row.

Game Notes: The game was delayed twice due to Captain Crap for Brains and his merry band of D-Bags setting off fireworks into right field� New bat!... Equipment manager Timmy reports that the Under Armour royal blue baseball socks are still available at National Sports (and other fine retailers), $9 for two pair� Falcons get melancholy for beer time after losses� Dinner reports that Angry Birds is the greatest thing in the history of ever� Cashley reports �I don�t need to hear about it�� Due to the school year ending, Dougothy was allowed to stay out past his bedtime�
