Senior went 3 for 3, Beaver had two three-baggers and both Goliath and Dougothy went deep as the Falcons won their second consecutive game over Greenthumb/Woodland and their fifth straight overall by a score of 12-6 in the first game of a Friday night doubleheader at K1 Stadium (naming rights still available).

Greenthumb jumped out to an early lead, scoring 3 runs in the bottom of the third inning, but like smelling salts, that awoke the Falcon offence as they responded in the top of the fourth with five runs of their own. The Falcons (17-7) put up a three-spot in the top of the fifth and didn�t look back. Greenthumb scored three more over the final two innings but it wasn�t enough on this night.

Game Notes: Five wins in a row, one away from free beer� Dougothy has decided to attempt to make the fence resemble Swiss cheese with his liners� Pregame BP was poorly attended� The Falcons are 6-1 since Cashley went down with a thumb injury. They had lost 4 of 5 leading up to the injury� The Falcons have matched their entire 2012 home run production already this year.
