assignment Tired Falcons Squad Squeaks out Win Over Coulas
Sunday 5:00PM May 25th, 2014
A tired and beat up Falcons squad rode a ten-run third inning to a 13-8 victory over Presidents Division rival Coulas Bone Crushers on a beautiful Sunday afternoon for baseball, at K2 Field at Maypo Yards. After a disappointing WMSPL Tournament showing (dont ask), the Falcons regrouped and took the field with girded loins and some fresh arms and legs. The Falcons allowed four runs in the top of the first inning, and the game began looking remarkably like the final game of the tournament for the boys in blue. But the Falcons bats showed up in the bottom half, getting two of those runs back.
After a blank in the second by both teams, Coulas scored a singleton in the top of the third, and then the Falcons bats woke up. They sent the entire lineup to the plate in the bottom half of the third, and came out of it with a ten-spot.
Coulas put a scare into the Falcons immediately in the top of the fourth, scoring three. But thats as close as they would come. The Falcons added an insurance run in the bottom of the fifth, and secured their third victory of the season.
Virility Report:
Cashley: Old. Lame.
Dinner: Old. Lame.
Senior: On the eve of his 162nd birthday, Senior pitched all seven innings for the Falcons after having played in every inning of all four games over the previous two days. Seriously guys, if you dont want Senior to squawk at you, dont give him this kind of ammo.
Game Notes: Big Lungs, goin deep Dinner is looking for the Advil endorsement deal Further advance planning is required for Birds laundry Its telling that Senior shows up to the field three hours early, but arrives at his own birthday party with only seconds to spare

Did you guys see my influence?
I wear neon shoe laces to perform at all-night raves and now utility infielder/incompetent baserunner Doug 00
(aka Dougothy, aka Laces, aka Lacey, aka The BookMaker, aka Rain-Man, aka the White Flavor Flav)
is psyching out opponents and teammates alike with neon laces in his baseball kicks.
PS: Why won't Cas wear his white party pants to a Falcons game?
