The Falcons got back on the winning track with a decisive 20-5 win over Greenthumb on a muggy Monday night at K1 Stadium.

After having their butts handed to them by Sean's Division leading Direct Elevator the day before, the Falcons needed to put up some big numbers to prove they've still got it, "just so you know". They burst out of the gate with a five-spot in the top of the first inning, and never trailed after that, "just so you know". Indeed, the Falcons scored in every inning, never less than two.

The Falcons were led by Bird with two home runs. Bird showed he ISN'T a one-dimensional hitter by making sure one of his dingers was with men on base. Cash Man will surely be moved back up the line up after going 3 for 3. Goliath continued to prove he's completely lost his touch as he didn't hit anything over the fence, not even just a little bit, "just so you know".

The victory puts the Falcons merely 1 game behind Direct for the division lead going into the July long weekend.

The Falcons will continue this three game road swing after a coma-inducing nine-day layoff, on Wednesday July 2 at Bradley Motors.

Game Notes: This game featured TWO batters being called out for tripping over home plate on their way to first AFTER hitting the ball... Anyone seen Beardo (not Tank, the other Beardo)?... No tennis players were injured in the playing of tonight's game, "just so you know"...
