In a hangy-bangy back and forth contest (as in, the pitchers hanged 'em, the batters banged 'em), the big Hanet bats came out on top of a slim 19-18 contest in game two of an Opening Day make up on K1.

Hanet pounced out to an early 11-1 lead after three innings, the SIXTH straight game in which the Falcons failed to score first. The two teams matched four-spots in the fourth (HA!) and after 11 Friday night innings, that's when the Falcon bats finally woke up.

The Falcons burst out with five in the fifth, and eight in the sixth to take a precarious three run lead into the bottom of the sixth with the WMSPL mandated 85 minute time limit approaching.

In the end, the time limit wasn't a factor, as Hanet manufactured one run, and won it on a three run jack soon after that.

No time to dwell on the negative, however. The Falcons will be getting right back at in come Sunday afternoon for another epic tangle with perpetual-thorn-in-the-Falcons-side Storm at 5:00 on K1.
