The Storm took control of their own destiny, overtaking the Falcons for first place in the Sean's Division with a convincing 17-6 victory in game two of a Sunday night doubleheader on K2 Field at Maypo Yards.

The Storm jumped out to an early 8-0 lead after two innings with well placed hits, and some good defence. The Falcon bats were non-existent for most of the game. SLF lead off the game with a mighty whiff, and the rest of the team followed suit.

The Falcons came within five runs going into the bottom of the sixth inning, but a timely six-spot by The Storm put this one away.

Game Notes: With the loss, the Falcons magic number for the Sean's Division Championship remains at 8 (and with only 6 games remaining, that means they'll need some help)... Getting cold out there... If the Falcons can win the rest of their games, they'll celebrate with free beer on September 7...
