Curtis' Dad AGAIN lead all Falcons with 5 RBI, and three Falcons went deep as the team maintained their quest for their first undefeated month of May since 2008 squeaking out a 17-16 victory over the previously undefeated Bradley Motors on a frigid Monday night on K2.

It was cold. Real cold. Like, you didn't need to ice the beer cold. Brass monkey weather. It sucked, is what I'm saying. And windy. I expected to see a farm house fly by with the scarecrow (played by Sean) and the cowardly lion (Rich) at one point.

The Falcons scored 5 runs in the top of the first, highlighted by the game winning base on balls by SLF to lead off the inning. They put up four runs before the guy who never (rarely?) gets out, Lonny "one-out" Dayton grounded to short but somehow ran all the way to first with his foot in his mouth. Good luck getting that OBP above .900 now, bud. (One-out would finish 1 for 3, but still manage 3 RBI)

The story for the defence was the inability to close out the inning. Twice the Shifters went on multiple run streaks after the first two batters of the inning were retired.

The Falcons finished on top, but Bradley made it really uncomfortable.

Cycle Watch: The last time a Falcon hit for the cycle was May 19, 2010.

Game Notes: G3 and Dinner are now carpooling to games. One would think this means G3 will be sticking around longer after games, but sadly the opposite is true. Now Dinner leaves mere minutes after the final out... No one was called out for being great today... Miller Lite, now available in Canada...
