Million Dollar Bill went deep, as did Dinner (twice!) but a late inning defensive collapse and a rarely witnessed GIDP by SLF sank the Falcons' admittedly slim chance of an undefeated season as they fell to Bradley Motors Shifters 19-18 on a mooney Tuesday night on K2.

The Shifters scored in every inning, never relenting and chipped away at a Falcons 10-run third inning, ultimately gaining the lead in the top of the last inning by putting up four runs in the sixth.

Dinner continued his quest to repeat as WMSPL MVP (the first repeat winner since Joey Storm in '07/'08) as he crushed two bombs, one a three-run shot and the other a grand salami (coincidentally that's what he also calls his junk). He came within a few feet of breaking his personal record of 10 RBI when he flied to right field and was somehow credited with an RBI single on what should have been ruled an E10. Give him EIGHT RBI for the night. Million Dollar Bill climbed out of his homerless slump with a three run shot of his own in the Falcons' 10-run third, Bill's first since August 27, 2014 against these same Shifters. Next up for the Falcons is the Midseason Classic (formerly the President's Tournament, formerly the Mid-Season Tournament, formerly a poorly attended clownfest). The Falcons take the field on Friday night at 9:30 on K2 against Xtreme, followed seemingly immediately at 9:00 am Saturday morning against Greenthumb, and finally at noon versus Coulas to complete the round robin part of the show. Cycle Watch: The last time a Falcon hit for the cycle was May 19, 2010. Dinner was merely a triple away from hitting for the cycle this evening.

Game Notes: After the game, Skinny Bop was getting fitted for his new "Tour de Coup de Circuit" cycling jersey... Dinner left the park pretty quick after the game, hope Jags is OK this morning... SEVENTY FOUR HORSEPOWER! Hold onto your gitch...
