assignment Storm On Top, Falcons Line Up To Defect
Sunday 6:30PM June 7th, 2015
Storm showed their President's Division superiority Sunday evening, crushing defending division champion Falcons 33-16 and wasting spectacular games at the plate by One-Out and Million Dollar Bill.If there was any question of which team was the class of the division, it was answered Sunday. Storm ran out to an insurmountable lead in the top of the first highlighted by Joey's grand slam. The Falcons whimpered a response in the bottom half, and their doughnut represented their level of talent when compared to Super Storm.
Leading 16-4 going into the bottom of the fourth, Storm relented enough to make a game of it for a short while as the Falcons put up 7. That was just a tease, however. Storm came right back in the top of the fifth scoring 8, and 9 more in the top of the sixth put the cherry on their Sunday Sundae.
The Falcons are left hoping that rosters get expanded to 30 per team next year so we can all be drafted by Storm. It would be nice to be winners.
Coming up this week for the Falcons, they meet Coulas for the first time this season on Wednesday at 8:00 pm on K1
Cycle Watch: The last time a Falcon hit for the cycle was May 19, 2010; no one came even close today, except for Joey. Joey hit for the cycle.
Game Notes: The Falcons' M*A*S*H unit is at over capacity today, following a massacre in the WMSPL Mid-Season Classic Tournament over the weekend. The Falcons lost half the games they played, yet still managed to share in the prize money... What is this a love-fest? They kicked your asses and all you can see is stars in your eyes!? Falcons don't whimper GDI they come back harder, meaner and hungrier for victory. They don't marry the bloody opposition.
And where the hell are the last 9 Falcasts GDI.
