In the first game of their home-and-home series, the Falcons took on a shortened A's squad who had to call on the services of Falcons wannabe Drew from Xtreme:



Having dropped 3 straight, the Falcons jumped all over the A's starting pitcher plating 14 runs in the first inning and rode the big inning to a much needed victory.

The A's put up a big inning of their of their own in the 6th, but after running into the league mandated time limit and their bottom-of-the-sixth at bats outstanding, the Falcons were allowed to wipe it from existence.

Cycle Watch: The last time a Falcon hit for the cycle was May 19, 2010. With his better half wife watching from the stands, Dougothy was only a triple short of the cycle tonight.

Game Notes: Commence launch sequence: Goliath in green (Cam) and Goliath in blue (DC) seemingly took turns showing how far they could smash balls... Big Cat must have had a pre-game nap as he was full of vim and vigour (always lots of laughs when Big Cat is full of vim and vigour)... Billy En Fuego!!! ... After hitting a lazy fly ball out to the left side of 2nd base, the first time hitting to that side in his Falcons career, an elated Dougothy ran back to the dugout, arms in a V, as if he had hit a walk off grand slam to snap the Falcons' bridesmaids streak in the WMSPL Playoff Finals... !@#$%^&*()!@#$%^& mosquitoes!!!
