For the first time EVER, the Falcons expected to see the Thompson father and son duo take the field together as Falcon teammates as the guys in blue took on a scrappy Greenthumb team on this Tuesday 8PM game.

Appears word got out as Lonny's wife, dog and several Greenthumb supporters came out to witness the momentous occasion but to their dismay, the game started without a Thompson in sight.

Realizing they had just banked 2 pizzas for 2 Thompsons not showing and not signing out, a short but giddy Falcons squad jumped out to a 15 - 3 lead after 3 innings of play.

With the long ball no longer in play for the Falcons, Greenthumb began their comeback plating 11 runs and blanking the Falcons in the 4th and 5th innings narrowing their deficit to one run.

The Falcons tacked on 3 runs in the 6th and 7th and held Greenthumb to 4 runs over that span to squeak out a 21-18 win.

Cycle Watch: For the first time since May 19, 2010, a Falcon FINALLY hit for the cycle (Dinner). Does that mean the cycle watch is over?

Game Notes: Pizzas, they just keep accumulating! Junior Jenkins popped his cherry making his first contributions. Pressure's off now Caleb! ;-).... A not short Short at short was nothing short of spectacular (say that 5 times really fast).... Million Dollar Bill saved his Million Dollar Home Run Swing for a +2 HR Out... Who put the new lock on the equipment box?!?
