The Falcons extended their winning streak to 3 and climbed over the .500 barrier for the first time in 2016 with a convincing 13-6 Sunday afternoon victory over 2015 WMSPL Playoff Tournament Champions and Storm Killers, the Bradley Motors Shifters.

The offence came out slowly as usual, putting up only 1 run in each of the first two innings. Bradley came back in the third to tie it at 2. The Falcons scored 4 in the fourth, highlighted by SLF getting totally nailed right in the spine while scoring on the sacrifice fly by Junior Jenkins. Good thing he wears that helmet. Bradley roared back in the bottom of the fourth with 3 of their own, but that's as close as they would get. One more in the fifth, and a big 6 in the sixth for the blue side put this one to bed.

Inside-the-park Home Run Watch: The last time a Falcon hit an inside-the-park home run was July 23, 2012.

Game Notes: As the Falcons took the field defensively for the bottom of the seventh inning, Coach Shizzle could be heard yelling "Two run buffer!" because he's a filthy liar... Seems Million Dollar Bill has sold his wife a Falcons Flex-Pack, as Mrs. Bill has attended two straight games... Ms. Junior Jenkins has of course ponied up for the full season ticket package, taking over as the Falcons' #1 fan... Apparently, Papa Bear's appearance in the previous game was as rare as a blue moon, as he won't be back for a while. He still leads Z in games played, though... Only 7 Falcons are now below Stumpy's Slo Pitch Mendoza Line (Click to listen to the FALCAST)... Everyone loves pizza, no one loves ordering it...
