An unexpected short 9-man Falcons team took the field against the 1st place Xtreme Contracting squad on this beautiful Tuesday 8PM evening game.

Initially reluctant to supply us a catcher, the guys in white thankfully did comply with league rule #3. However, the Falcons were left wondering what instructions were given when an early on-the-money throw home from RF by Poutine was attempted to be caught something like this:



Shenanigans aside, this game turned into a back and forth affair that saw six lead changes, but in the end, the guys in blue came out victorious answering Xtreme's big 6th inning and closing the game on an unorthodox 5-6-4-3 double play.

Inside-the-park Home Run Watch: The last time a Falcon hit an inside-the-park home run was July 23, 2012. Xtreme's Andrew Ashbee was awfully close to accomplishing the feat in the 6th inning after splitting RCF and LF with LCF in at rover.

Game Notes: Senior Sevens was out to catch the game; a much better one to watch than the drubbing to Storm he witnessed his last time out.... Do we need another Missing milk carton ad Lonny?... Coach Shizzle was also an unexpected scratch (#$%^&@#$%^&* ex'es), but assistant coach Rich, um, I mean Ash, filled in nicely....Dinner's chance for manager of the year went out the window after Drewber answered the rover with an easy stand up triple.
