Take me down to the Falcons' City where the beer is free and the wins are pretty! The wind was blowing hard (except when SLF hit), and the balls were being hit harder. G3 and Poutine lead the Falcons to their sixth straight victory, winning convincingly over the Rebels, 20-3.

Six wins in a row is a difficult achievement (shut up, Joey). Since 2011, the Falcons have won 5 in a row four times, only to miss out on free beer by losing the sixth game. At the beginning of the season, it appeared the team wouldn't ever get a sniff of a free beer night, but here we are. A six-game winning streak that includes victories over Storm, Bradley, Xtreme and the A's.

Poutine was his usual Pou self. He had two hits, both for extra bases (no singles for this dude) with a dinger. Doug "broke out of a slump" (?) bringing himself to near-climax with Suzy in stroking his 4th homer of the year.

SLF (eventually) hit his second triple of the year to regain the team lead, and Doug was only a triple short of the Falcons' second cycle of the season. He did get on base 4 different ways, however, clubbing a single, double, homer, and drawing a walk.

The team's search for a lead-off hitter who won't complain that they're the lead-off hitter continues. Too much pressure is the word these days.

Inside-the-park Home Run Watch: The last time a Falcon hit an inside-the-park home run was July 23, 2012.
