Going back to 1997 the Falcons NEVER lost a game by default. Mind you, the pick up rules were different back then.
The last time the Falcons had attendance issues that would have caused a default, under today's rules, was the 2000 season. Again though with different rules and "The Legend Jerry Tone" the Falcons were still great.
