In game 1 of the Sunday night double header, the Falcons walked off the Shifters when G3 crushed a game-winning single to the right field corner to score whoever was running for The Legend.

The Falcons' offence was stop and go, and mostly stop. Delicious doughnuts in the first, third and fifth innings necessitated spurts of 4, 5 and 4 in the second, fourth and sixth, respectively, before spurting out the final two to win it in the seventh.

This game marked the welcome return of Coach Shizzle from his old-man-leg thing he had going, and also that the team is finally looking like a team! After fermenting in the trunk of Junior Thompson's car for a week or so, Curtis finally decided that it was time to issue the jerseys to the team's newest players (and also to Teets, who's only half the man he used to be and needed to get out of that dress).

Now that everyone's dressed the same, we should take some pictures.

Inside-the-park Home Run Watch: The last time a Falcon hit an inside-the-park home run was July 23, 2012.

Game Notes: How late is too late to call before you incur the pizza fine for not signing out?... With the win, the Falcons ended a pitiful 4-game losing streak... More than one Falcon noted that due to the lateness of the end of the second game, their wives would be asleep when they got home.
