Expecting to field 10 of their own, 2 pizza-owing-no-shows had the Falcons calling on the services of WMSPL president (a.k.a. Callup #1 for this game) to take on a Direct Elevator squad for this Sunday 9:30PM game.

A quick first 3.5 innings saw the Falcons take a 6-2 lead going into the bottom of 4 where the Falcons sent 21 batters to plate and scored 16 times.

Having been on the receiving end of a 17 run inning earlier this year to the Storm going station-to-station, there's something to be said about limiting the runs scored per inning. Suspect Direct would agree, as what appeared to be a demoralized defense only watched the guys in blue add to their seemingly insurmountable lead, plating another 12 runs over the next two innings to put this one away with a convincing 34-9 win.

Inside-the-park Home Run Watch: The last time a Falcon hit an inside-the-park home run was July 23, 2012. No one came close today.

Game Notes: History was made today: the Thompsons were the first Falcons to arrive at the diamond, 35 minutes before game time (tough to tell when people are joking over text).... Barry: "E-man can't hit it down the right field line". E-man: "You mean like this?" There go Barry's chances for manager of the year.... Junior Thompson, Shizzle and Callup #1 all went 3-for-3 in the 4th inning alone... Teets nearly had the chance of being the 3 outs in that 4th inning.... With his bud Zed MIA for this game, Poutine returned to form, banging out 2 HRs, and for added kicks, showed he can field balls with his head turned... With WMSPL President's stellar performance at the plate tonight, Callup #1 is leading the team in OBP.
