Junior Jenkins led the Falcons with 3 RBI, and the team put up a snowman in the second inning but it wasn't enough as the Falcons fell hard to Direct Elevator by a final score of 22-15 on Sunday evening.

Teets has recovered nicely from a collision at first base, firing at a 1.000 OBP clip in the last 3 games (9 for 9, 9 singles), and leading the Falcons over the last 7 games with a .760 OBP over that span. "If you want to get on base, break a rib! It'll totally change your swing," said Teets.

The Falcons were missing almost all their big bats for this game, and the results showed it. Not one Falcon had an extra base hit. With 4 of the team's top 5 home run hitter out of the line up, Direct easily won the derby, crushing 3 on the day, one of which ended an inning because of the league's home run rule.

The lone bright spot for the Falcons was the second inning, when 13 batters came to the plate, and 8 of them crossed the safe line. All without anything more than singles.

No rest for the crappy, though. The Falcons return to the field Monday night at 8:00 PM to host Coulas, trying to hold on to their slim lead over the A's for 3rd overall in the WMSPL.

Inside-the-park Home Run Watch: The last time a Falcon hit an inside-the-park home run was July 23, 2012. No Falcon had even sniffed second base from the batter's box.

Game Notes: Plenty of time was deservedly given to seeing if Pikachu would indeed barf during the game... Teets = Stroman... Million Dollar Bill has thoughtful insight on getting a head on his Palm Bay, or some such... Curtis = Caleb, for some reason...
