Shizz had an early 3-run double, and Poutine's mom put Usain Bolt to shame in her sprint away from the field after the game as the Falcons completed a season series tie with Storm in front of a packed house on Sunday afternoon by a final score of 8-8.

The most excitement of the game was the first inning, so if you missed it (Pikachu), you missed most of the runs. Storm boomed to an early lead, thanks to a generously scored triple from Duran, who scored on the same play on an errant throw, and the only power shot of the game, a 2-run jack by Lance. The Falcons responded doubly in small-ball fashion, belting out 6 straight singles to put up three runs, and capped it off with Shizz's 3-run double for a six-spot in the first.

The Falcons' bats died after that, scoring 2 in the third and nothing else the rest of the game. The defence, on the other hand, was smoking hot, holding the WMSPL's second-most prolific offence to only 8 runs, their lowest output of the season.

The Falcons host their penultimate home game on Monday, hosting Xtreme. If you've been paying attention, you should phone Vegas (or Dougothy Casino) and bet on a 20-15 final score.

Inside-the-park Home Run Watch: The last time a Falcon hit an inside-the-park home run was July 23, 2012. A foul ball was the closest a Falcon would come today.

Game Notes: The entire Poutine family was out to watch, with Poutine himself hiding his mom in plain sight... It was windy, but only at first base...
