Junior Jenkins hit his first extra base hit of the year and Goliath had two home runs but the Falcons came up just short as they were walked off in the bottom of the seventh by Bradley, the final score 13-12.

The game started hungrily, with G3 going to, and returning from the plate so fast that most of the team didn't realize he had struck out. That shame was shared quickly when Goliath repeated that feat two batters later. The race was on to see which the Falcons would accrue more: runs, or pizza fines.

In the top of the second, MVPoutine led off with a double, his team-leading 16th of the year. This one brought him above Dinner, who was out for this game with a case of teenybopperitis. Pou now leads the team in doubles, triples (tied with SLF), home runs, runs scored, OBP, slugging percentage, runs batted in, players' moms harassed, and players' wives offended. Goliath is batting .718, but doesn't have enough plate appearances to qualify.

The Falcons only real offensive burst came in the 5th inning with when SLF led off with a double, The Legend walked (legendarily), G3 walked to load the bases for Shizz, who had an RBI single. Goliath followed that up with a monster long hot salami.

With the Falcons down 3 going into the seventh, the bats came alive again. Two singles, a double and two sacrifice flies later and the game was tied.

Bradley loaded the bases with 1 out in the bottom half and scored the winning run on a fielder's choice.

Inside-the-park Home Run Watch: The last time a Falcon hit an inside-the-park home run was July 23, 2012. Nothing in this one.

Game Notes: Not sure Dinner was at this supposed Shawn Mendes show, I can't seem to find a review online at all, so did it even happen?... There was much discussion after the game about possible new news posts, but sadly, Dinner is the only one with Photoshop... The Falcons have been eliminated from the President's Division Championship race... Sunday, August 28 has been declared a pizza night, since we accumulated so many in this game.
