In one of the most competitive games they've played this season, the Falcons still fell short, losing 17-12 to the A's. The loss is the 3rd straight for the Falcons, and the fourth straight to the A's in 2021.

After allowing the A's a two-spot in the top of the first, the Falcons matched their entire game-one total for runs in the bottom of the first inning, scoring four.

The teams enjoyed snack time, exchanging delicious doughnuts in the second inning.

In the third, the A's had had enough lollygagging, and scored four. Though it's not written on this here scoresheet because we didn't have enough players to keep score and no one came to watch, I'm sure Luige socked a dinger in there somewhere. The Falcons responded pathetically in the bottom of the third, scoring one on Grahambo's Duncan to lead it off.

Twos for the A's in the fourth and fifth, clapped back by the Falcons with a goose egg in four and The Mattural's Duncan in the fifth, put the A's up 10-6 going into the sixth.

In the top of the sixth inning, the A's scored five, highlighted I'm sure by yet another Luige moon-shot. Again, no scorekeeper, how am I to know? But it seemed like every time he came up, I got a break in the outfield because I didn't have to move. In the bottom of the sixth, the Falcons went down one, two, thr... wait! No! There was offence in the sixth from the Falcons! Praise Jebus! The Falcons batted around in the bottom of the sixth inning, capping it off with Grahambo's grand slam. In total, they doubled their score and went into the seventh within spitting distance of the lead. The A's led 15-12.

... And then the A's scored two more, and the Falcons responded with Single, Fart Noise, Single, Fart Noise, Fart Noise and the Falcons have lost three in a row AGAIN.

Game notes: This sucks. How's that for game notes?!?! (Matt was somehow only a single short of hitting for the cycle)... The last time the Falcons beat the A's was July 28, 2019.
