In Game 2 of this damned Friday doubleheader, the Isotopes took care of business again and handed the Falcons their 2nd loss of the season, 26-22.

Although they didn't need it, the Isotopes sent in reinforcements to complement their already capable squad, and plated 3 to start the game. The Falcons, just like in Game 1, scratched 4 of their own across the plate before logging a MAX6 in the 2nd to go up early, 10-5.

But again, the Isotopes hits started to pile up, the bleeding could not be stopped and, in spite of a last ditch effort by the Falcons at the end, this game was well out of reach for the home squad.

Game notes: Beatty trucked from 1B to home on Teets' first double of 2023, making it clear he does not need any courtesy runners for the rest of the year... Dunner had himself a night, going 9 for 10 with 8 RBIs, although he did give one of those back by doing his best Jose Canseco impersonation and knocking an Isotopes rope to LF off his glove and over the fence for a HR (or 4-bag error, according to umpy)... with the rust officially off, Flash, PizzaCo and Dr J logged their first XBHs of the year... Tuesday night: nothing; Friday night: mosquitos everywhere... with Poutine signed out, the game was peacefully quiet, or almost too quiet? Is it time to admit that neverending chatter = wins for this squad?
