It was an eventful top of the first inning, during Tuesday's 8pm game at K2 vs Coulas. With the Taxman nowhere to be found at gametime, the Falcons shuffled their defensive lineup, borrowing a catcher from Coulas, putting Barry Guerrero Jr in RF and Flash at 1B. When asked by the ump, the Coulas catcher honourably proclaimed they would indeed be making plays at the plate. Flash reminded himself he doesn't need to stand directly on the bag, and prayed to God for no sharply hit liners to first. During Coulas' third PA the Taxman was spotted running across the grass to K2, and Flash thought "Oh nice, I can return to catching." Nope! SP Ash felt like he didn't have it and asked to be relieved of his duties with no outs and the bases loaded. Coulas ended up plating four runs in the first. The Falcons offense would score three in the bottom of the inning, behind RBI singles from Beatty and Dr. J, and a Miner Leaguer sac fly.

Still a little wild top of 2nd, Shohei walked some and served up some meatballs to Coulas hitters, giving up three runs. Thankfully Beatty is on our team and walked up to plate with two on saying "I can plate three runs too", crushing one over the left field fence. Falcons down 7-6.

Shohei settled down in the third, and with the help of the Falcons D (not that kind of D, Labrecque!) served up a delicious donut to Coulas. Defensive highlights from team blue will saved for the end of the recap because yours truly can't recall what inning most of them happened!

Bottom third saw a New Grandpa Bill RBI single, a 2 RBI Cowboy double, and a Dunner sac fly. Falcons take the lead 10-7.

Offensively not much else happened the rest of the game. Three more delicious donuts for Coulas, and a two RBI double from (who else?) Beatty in the fifth.

Bottom 7th Coulas could only muster one run, Falcons win 12-8.

Defensive highlights:
- I knew Beatty could mash, but I didn't know he had hops like Vince Carter, jumping many pizza boxes straight up into the air and robbing Coulas of a sure hit.
- Million Dollar Bill and Dr J turned a pretty double play.
- After a flyball out in left center, Cowboy nailed a Coulas runner at third who thought he could tag up and advance.
- Beatty stepped on the bag at third and fired a strike to first for a game ending double play.
