Wednesday's 8pm game at K1 pitted the Falcons vs Greenthumb, both sitting at 5th place in their President's and VP divisions, respectively, the first of a rare weeknight doubleheader to make up for an earlier rain date.

Shohei and the Falcons D held Greenthumb to one in the top of the first. Beatty chipped in an RBI single, and DC a sac fly to plate two in the bottom half.

Three straight donuts, two delicious and one not so delicious, kept the score unchanged through the middle of the 3rd. Our 2024 Falcons symposium host Barry then knocked in one with his second triple of the game, Grahambo another with an RBI single, and DC with an RBI groundout. Falcons up 5-1.

Greenthumb plated four big ones in the fourth to tie the game up 5-5. By this time Labrecque commandeered the defensive lineup, putting himself on the bench as much as possible, and making an occasional appearance at catcher every now and then. Miner Leaguer's RBI plated the Falcons only run of the inning.

Another delicious donut kicked off the fifth, before Barry got sticking with an RBI triple (his THIRD of the game). Grahambo plated one with a single, before Beatty crushed a three run tater. Falcons up 10-5.

Greenthumb knocked in their two spares from Brew Crew to plate a couple in the sixth. The Taxman delivered a bases loaded RBI single, Cowboy a sac fly, and Barry just couldn't manage a fourth triple, settling for an RBI double. After a Grahambo sac fly, Beatty did what he does best, crushing a 3 run homer over the left field fence. Greenthumb would plate one in the 7th, Falcons win 16-8.
